As President of the Springfield Avenue Center BID, I welcome you to discover one of the most active business districts in our area.<\/p>

Established by municipal ordinance in 1997, the SACBID is located along the length of Springfield Avenue in Irvington, and along Clinton Avenue from Smith Street on the north to Washington Avenue on the south, plus our side streets such as Nye Avenue and Civic Square which is lined with government buildings.<\/p>

In our district you will find an array of stores and services, including 50 clothing stores, another six shoe stores, 30 general merchandise stores, 11 jewelry shops, three banks, five electronics stores, five drug stores, and 35 beauty and nail salons.<\/p>

Enjoy 15 restaurants, three seafood markets, 10 groceries and supermarkets, and four cleaners. You’ll also find seven dentists, seven law firms, six day care centers, six accounting firms, 15 medical offices, four laundromats, an optician, a fitness center, and a dance studio.<\/p>

Small Business Spotlight Program<\/em><\/strong><\/p>

The \u201c10 Doors of Irvington\u201d is a creative placemaking and marketing initiative designed to celebrate and elevate small businesses along the Irvington Springfield Avenue corridor. This program highlights the stories, people, and passion behind local storefronts while encouraging residents and visitors to explore and support Irvington\u2019s business community.<\/p>

Through a curated selection process, ten businesses will be chosen to participate in a comprehensive promotional campaign. Each selected merchant will receive a customized mini marketing package that includes professional videography, branded storytelling content, social media promotion, and a storefront spotlight feature.<\/p>

The initiative will culminate in a dedicated Community Promotion Week<\/strong>, inviting the public to visit all ten featured businesses\u2014driving foot traffic, increasing visibility, and strengthening local economic activity.<\/p>
